Service Description

Learn fashion industry standard sewing techniques from a seasoned freelance fashion designer. Enjoy city views from our rooftop with catered brunch from a private chief. This two-day crash course is designed to provide fashion enthusiast with the tools they'll need to build a portfolio. The 1st class will be 6 hours with a one-hour catered brunch. Participants will receive information and live instructions on: sewing machine set up, fabric selection, cutting and sewing, fittings and more! With the "Sew Like a Pro" package, designers will do just that. This package is for beginners with a drive and passion to create outside of the box! Designers will be provided with the following: Heavy Duty sewing machine Sewing Kit: -Scissors -Sewing pins -Pin cushion -Measuring tape -Hemming ruler - Hand needles - Seam ripper - fabric chalk - fabric marking pencils Fabric: Hand picked fabric from the designer to complete all projects. Fabric and Textile sample book: A detailed book of fabric samples and textile description. Sewing sample book : a book of garment construction techniques sewn by the designer. The book will include various samples of hems, seams, zippers and pockets. Patterns: Designed and made by the instructor. Each Designer will be given different patterns based on their skill level. Pattern Making Supplies: Dotted pattern paper, oak tag, grid ruler kit and hang tags. Additional 4 hour individual session with flexible scheduling. Brunch with a view! Enjoy brunch provided by a private chief on the rooftop of our private building with views of the city and pool cabanas. * There will be homework! Designers are responsible for at-home assignments
